When it comes to your senior portraits, you want to make sure your personality shines through. In order for that to happen you're going to need to be comfortable! Being prepared helps tremendously with that! I know how important this is for our clients, so I wanted to pass on some advice for anyone else with an upcoming senior session.
1. Talk to your photographer BEFORE you hire them!
Do you get along? Do you have things in common? Do you click? See what I did there. Haha! Seriously, this is really important.
2. Talk to your photographer AFTER you hire them!
Create a vision for your session together. This could be with an in person consult or even Facetime or over the phone.
3. Play music that lights you up!
Create a playlist for your session that makes you wanna dance. You’ll need energy pumping on your session day.
4. Choose outfits that are all about “you”.
Are you extroverted and bold? Choose bold outfits then! Are you go with the flow and chill? Maybe your outfits should have that sort of vibe.
5. Location isn’t everything.
A good photographer can make anything look good. It’s all about the light really. But a cool location can set the tone and bring you out of your shell. You want to be photographed in one that fits who you are.
We photograph seniors all over Forsyth County, Georgia and the greater Atlanta area and WE WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU TOO!
